Persistent bay fog had corroded the bottom bracket and fasteners on this Rockridge garage to the point the door was unsafe to operate.
We replaced the bracket and all rusted fasteners with coated hardware, inspected the cables for hidden wear, and re-secured the assembly. We were honest that the door itself was fine and didn't need replacing.
A safe, solid door again — for the cost of hardware, not a new door.
